Bewdley Carnival began in 1926 as a Land and River Parade, and in 2026 we celebrated our 100th anniversary.

A century on, the carnival is still what it always was: a community event, organised by local volunteers who give their time to put on a day the whole town can enjoy. Everything from the parade to the fireworks to the stage is planned and run by people who simply want to see Bewdley come together and have a good time.
