Bewdley Carnival 2024 - Less than a week away!
It’s time to get excited. Bewdley Carnival is almost here, with new ideas, more attractions for the family to enjoy and a brand new logo!
We have some new faces on our comittee this year, we would like to welcome David Hughes and Sara Mulligan to our team. Dave and Sara are going to manage our entertainment this year, bringing in new local performers and groups.
We also have some position changes to some of the familiar faces on the comittee this year. Denise Eaton and Lisa Portman have been appointed as our Events managers. They are going to be organising the other events leading up to the Carnival for you all to attend – including Bingo, Quiz Nights and much more. We will be advertising these events on our Facebook page.
Alysha Bourne is returning as our PR and Media officer. We would like to congratulate Alysha on the birth of her new baby daughter, Neave, who we have already signed up as a new member of the comittee!
We would also like to congratulate a valued friend of the carnival, Amanda Bradley, on her new appointment as Head of Bewdley Primary School.
Finally, our new Chairman is Martin Fisher. In his new role, Martin is looking forward to working with the other members of the comittee, assisting with the organisation of all aspects of the Carnival and will be managing the marshalling team on the day.
See below on how you can be a part of this year’s carnival, we can’t wait to see you there!

It will finally arrive in Bewdley Town Centre by 1:00pm.

Our Fireworks Spectacle - Friday 28th June - 10pm
We were asked by visitors at last year’s to bring back the carnival fireworks display, which previously featured every year. After running a poll on our facebook page, the results were that the majority of you would like to see this attraction return. We then setup a fundraiser and asked everyone to make a small donation and help us to reach our goal to fund this year’s fireworks display.
We are very pleased to announce that the fireworks display will be returning this year, thanks to all of your generous donations! Thank you to everyone who has donated, every penny helps keep this fantastic event running.
We welcome everyone to join us on Friday the 28th of June at 10pm. The fireworks will be set off from Bewdley Rowing Club, so you will be able to view them from the riverside and town centre.
Please be aware that there is no road closure for this event, so please take proper precautions on where you stand to view the fireworks display. No members of the public will be permitted to be near Bewdley Rowing Club during the fireworks display, due to safety concerns.
Thank You!
