Bewdley Carnival

Thank You!

From all of us on the committee, we would like to thank each and every one of you who attended and supported this year’s carnival. It was amazing to see everyone who turned out to watch as the parade travelled through town, the amount of local groups and organisations who joined us in the parade itself and the atmosphere in both the town centre and on the field at Bewdley Leisure Centre was overwhelming.

It really has been a pleasure to organise this event, and although we only had a limited amount of time to get everything in order, we are so very grateful to all of the local businesses and volunteers who stepped in so quickly and made this year’s carnival possible.

Below, you will find a button to a form where you can send us your feedback and offer your suggestions on how we can try to improve the event next year. We want to hear your thoughts – good or bad – and we will take all opinions into consideration when organising next years carnival. Your feedback is completely anonymous, so please feel free to express your thoughts truthfully.

We will update this page and our Facebook page soon with all of the totals raised and will publish the finalised accounts once they are available.

Our Carnival Royalty for 2023

The Carnival Princesses were part of Bewdley Carnival from the very beginning, but you may have noticed a small change in the name this year – that’s because the competition was opened to *all* children aged 4-11 from the following schools:

Bewdley Primary, St. Anne’s C of E Primary, Bayton C of E Primary, Far Forest Lea Memorial C of E Primary & Upper Arley C of E Primary

Our carnival royals this year were: Ben, Mia, Ruby & Lawson (Pictured from left to right in the centre photo)

We would like to say thank you to all of you for taking part, you all looked amazing!

About Bewdley Carnival

For over 50 years, Bewdley Carnival has been raising funds and supporting local causes in our local community. In 2023, after 3 years of hiatus, Bewdley Carnival is returning with a brand new committee of individuals with a primary focus of creating an annual event for Bewdley to be proud of.

The committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the previous committee members who have organised Bewdley Carnival in past years, and continue to encourage the current committee to make this event a success for years to come.
